Painting the downstairs

After painting both paint colors into the downstairs bathroom wall, I still really liked the color with less green.

The color on the right ^^

So we taped off all of the baseboards and ceiling to make nice, clean, straight lines, and we painted a wall of the downstairs around the fireplace.

Keep in mind, the fireplace wasn't finished being whitewashed yet, which is why it still looks a little more red than it is now.

My friend, Allison, went back through and touched up the top lines along the ceiling with a smaller paintbrush.

As you can see, when it dried, the color really got some richness. In some lights it looks gray, blue, green, and even tan, which is perfect! Except for one thing, the espresso cabinets and tan counters we want to do.

Remember, this is our color scheme:

I think it will look awesome with the gray, but Brad has different thoughts. The decision is that we will leave it for now, but we may repaint once the kitchen is finished, which I am totally fine with! We will cross that bridge when we get to it:)

Here is the result:

Remember also, the new floors aren't in yet! They have gray and tan hues!!

What do you think about the paint color?
